Snake Island Keymada Grande
In the south-east of Brazil, 35 km off the coast of the state of Sao Paulo, is a small island of Ilha da Queimada Grande, an area of about 0.43 km², on which it is forbidden for a person to step, in his own best interest, because it is one of the most dangerous snakes of the world – island boutrops (Bothrops insularis).
Their poison acts instantly, causing rapid tissue necrosis. Few people managed to survive the bite of such snakes. For this very reason, as well as for the sake of preserving the flora and fauna, visiting the island is prohibited by the authorities.
On the island of Keimada-Grandi Bottrop feels like the absolute master. Of course, here they are – a lot of five individuals per square meter! These snakes crawl perfectly on trees, and their prey is small birds. In addition to snakes on the island, almost no one is found, Botrops do not really like their neighbors.
Kaymanda Grande Island is closed to the public; even the lighthouse is automatic here, since the whole family of the caretaker of the old, ordinary lighthouse was exterminated by snakes.
If we wanted to make a list of the worst places for recreation in the world, Kaimanda Grande Island would rightfully take one of the first places in it.
Moon Valley “Vale da Lua”
The famous Moon Valley (Vale de Lua) is located on the territory of the Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park in the state of Goiás in central Brazil.

For thousands of years, the waters of one of the oldest rivers on Earth, the San Miguel River, have polished the natural quartz from which the local rocks consist of the most bizarre and unnatural forms.
Another point is the bizarre craters, pecking the rocks of the Moon Valley. They were formed in the valley for many centuries, under the influence of water and wind. In some places, between the craters, there are fossil remains.
Swampy Pantanal
Pantanal (Pantanal) – one of the largest wetlands in the world. This huge nature reserve, located in Brazil, covers an area of approximately 230 thousand square meters. km and is home to many species of insects, birds and animals, as well as a unique natural botanical garden (about 3,500 species of plants).
During the rainy period, the water in the Pantanal rises by more than three meters, during this period you can only travel by boat.
From April to November, the water level drops, exposing the bottom of lakes and river beds, during this period the most convenient way to travel is on horseback or on foot.
Pantanal is one of the most untouched places in the world where you can enjoy unity with nature, as well as one of the most colorful places in the world.
